Day One
9:30 - Driving north on a sunny, clear August morning.
Found a soundtrack. (Earl Flatt and Lester Scruggs - Cripple Creek)
Stopped for coffee and gas in Racine, Wisconsin. Toured the Johnsons Wax FLW headquarters.
Fond Du Lac along Lake Winnebago for lunch.
In Oshkosh, caught 41 North into Appleton. (Bob Dylan - Love Sick)
Headed east through Reedsville.
Sheboygan along the shore and back again, north on 42 to Kewaunee.
I drove slowly into Green Bay – found a motel in the shadow of Packers Stadium. In early evening light, I drove north on 41 to Oconto and back. BBQ place for dinner in Green Bay and settled down for the night.
